Deepika Padukone makes 'blink and miss' cameo in Brahmastra; netizens think she plays Ranbir Kapoor's mother in the magnum opus film
After much anticipation and years of wait, Brahmastra starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Amitabh Bachchan hit the big screen on September 9. The excitement has been through the roof as the domestic collections have reached Rs. 77.50 crores in two days. The film had several appearances of the biggest names in the industry including Shah Rukh Khan. Another cameo is by Deepika Padukone who plays the role of Amrita. But, speculations are that she reportedly plays Ranbir Kapoor's mother in the film.
One fan wrote, “#SpoilerAlert I Guess 99% of audience missed this as this was shown only in IMAX (different print) #DeepikaPadukone as Amrita(Jal) #Brahmastra.”

The film ended with the announcement of the sequel, Brahmastra Part Two: Dev which is reportedly set to be headlined by Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. Although no confirmation has been made, yet.
Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor have worked together in Bachna Ae Haseeno, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani and Tamasha.
