Halsey hit the Grammy Awards red carpet on Sunday night on April 3, just days after undergoing surgery. The Grammy nominee had announced Saturday on social media that they’d be attending the award show and asked people to be gentle in case of a run-in.
On Saturday, Halsey posted a selfie wearing a hospital gown, hair net and face mask as they opened up about the procedure they went under just three days before the 2022 Grammys. “The last time I attended the Grammys was 2017 and it was 3 days after I had my first Endometriosis surgery,” she wrote on Instagram. “I walked the carpet with my stitches still in. As luck would have it, I'm attending tomorrow for the first time in years and I had surgery again (you guessed it) 3 days ago. Only posting this to say, if you see me be gentle lol I'm fragile. Fragile but excited.”

Halsey’s chart-topping album “If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power” was nominated for best alternative music album, vocal or instrumental at this year’s Grammys. Halsey graced the red carpet serving us with some bold sense of style. She paired a wide brimmed hat with their burgundy and black strapless belted corset gown. After an hour, they posted to their Instagram stories that they weren't feeling up to the evening and had headed home. “Not feeling super well so I left early. Had to see BTS tho. Going to get some pasta and sleep. Thanks for everything luv u all.” they wrote.
Halsey showed up on the red carpet just three days after having endometriosis surgery, which was reminiscent of their 2017 Grammys experience. Halsey has been open about their struggles with endometriosis, including the "terrifying" surgeries they underwent for treatment of the condition. “Today I braved multiple terrifying surgeries,"
Halsey had shared in a now-deleted Instagram post. “The most important of which being the surgery that would hopefully treat my endometriosis. For those of you who have followed this battle of mine or who may suffer with it yourself, you know the extremes to which it can be mentally exhausting and physically painful.”
They’re set to hit the road in May on the ‘Love and Power Tour’ in support of the album, visiting several cities across North America.
