21 Years Of Refugee: Kareena Kapoor Khan celebrates her debut anniversary, thanks everyone for love and support
Kareena Kapoor Khan on Wednesday (June 30) took to her Instagram and celebrated her 21 years in Bollywood. Her debut film Refugee released on 30 June 2000 marked Abhishek Bachchan's film debut as well.
Kareena shared a reel video with compilation of several stills and scenes from the film in which both the actor were romancing each other. The video also had a picture of the actors with director JP Dutta at a promotional event. The video also had some BTS memories and great moments from the sets. Sharing the video, Kareena expressed her gratitude and wrote, "21 years Grateful, happy, blessed, motivated, passionate... 21 more to go... I'm ready Thank you to everyone for the continuous love and support ."

Helmed by JP Dutta the film also featured Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Sudesh Berry, Anupam Kher, Kulbushan Kharbanda and Reena Roy. The film was a cross-border romance set in the aftermath of the formation of Bangladesh in 1971. In the film, Abhishek played a man who helped refugees from India and Pakistan cross over into either country while Kareena played a Pakistani woman who falls in love with him.
