Batwoman star Javicia Leslie unveils official photos of her character Ryan Wilder donning redesigned Batsuit
There's a new superhero in Gotham city and her name is Javicia Leslie. After the exit of Ruby Rose, Batwoman makers roped in Leslie to play the lead in the second season. She will essay the role of new caped-crusader, Ryan Wilder. After teasing new look, the makers have finally revealed what Ryan Wilder will look like in donning the cape.
Donning designed Batman, Leslie unveiled the official photos of her as the new Batwoman. "Blackwoman, I mean Batwoman is here!," she wrote on Instagram.
"The new re-designed Batsuit for Ryan Wilder. The Batsuit was conceptualized by Batwoman costume designer Maya Mani and created by Ocean Drive Leather, the wig created by Janice Workman and Takisha Sturdivant, and makeup styled by Cory Roberts. Shot by @ninomunoz," she further wrote on Instagram.
Batwoman actress Ruby Rose announced her exit from the TV series in May and said that she will no longer play the role of Kate Keen / Batwoman.
Batwoman aired in October 2019 on CW as the story progressed with the aftermath of Batman's disappearance. Her character Kate Kane takes over the charge to protect Gotham City. Currently, the series is being filmed in Vancouver.
